How does one adequately explain "the next big thing?" Because that's
exactly what the NewsBrief Marketplace is.
Summarizing it's purpose into a nutshell doesn't do it justice: "The
purpose of the NewsBrief Marketplace is to bridge the gap between the
traditional forms of media (tv/radio, newspaper, direct mail, directories) and
the internet. It allows individuals and businesses to do far more to
share their message than traditional media will allow, and it gives consumers
that one centralized place they can go to find someone's internet
presence." See?
Describing what it offers is better, but still not adequate: "For as
little as one dollar per day, your ad in the NewsBrief Marketplace gives you
1000 words of text to share your message or describe your product or service,
PLUS ten photos to show your product or service, PLUS a video clip, PLUS an
audio clip, PLUS is accessible by a network of over 300 websites in the State
of Kansas, including major media outlets like KFDI radio and KSNW television,
PLUS thousands of websites nationally." Remember, that's for as little as
one dollar per day!
With the purpose and description of what NewsBrief Marketplace is about, I think
you can see what I'm talking about by considering just two scenarios:
Scenario 1: Let's say you're an individual or business needing to
advertise something that you would advertise in a newspaper's classified ads.
(a vehicle, a home, a rental, a help wanted ad). Running a little 3 or 4
line ad limits dramatically what you can say to describe what you have. Can you
see the difference that having 1000 words and ten photos can make for
you? And, if you run that ad for anything more than a week, it will
become more expensive than an ad in NewsBrief Marketplace. The better
strategy is to run a small ad in the paper directing them to your ad in
NewsBrief Marketplace!
Scenario 2: You're a business that relies on traditional media to get your
message out. Compare the difference with NewsBrief Marketplace:
Print media is costly for the space you get, and you often pay extra to have
color photographs included. All the traditional media is relatively
inflexible compared to NewsBrief Marketplace. There is usually a lot involved
to change your radio, tv, newpaper ads. With NewsBrief Marketplace, you
can change your ad at any time, as often as you like. With traditional
media, there is limited "shelf life". Your NewsBrief Marketplace ad is
there 24 / 7 , always accessible. Again, the best strategy is to use the
traditional media not only to send your message, but also to drive them to your
NewsBrief Marketplace ad - even if you already have a website of your
own. As internet use matures, we're learning that customers use websites
to gather information on a company, its products and services. We are
training the public to look to NewsBrief Marketplace to find a company's ads
and offers. You can add links to take people from your website to
NewsBrief Marketplace, and vice versa.
